Kamayan Dinner

NO PLATES   -   NO UTENSILS   -   JUST YOUR HANDS

*Pampalasa closed its brick-and-mortar location September 2016.  We are now doing temporary popups through Feastly.com. Menus vary and subject to change.

*We are available for private events for both Kamayans and for Catering within the City limits of San Francisco.  All other requests may incur a service fee.  Please contact us at info@pampalasa.com and we will work with you to create your event.

*Children's pricing is not available.  All persons, including children, sitting at a Kamayan table are charged full price for Kamayans.

"Kamay" is the Filipino word for hands.  "Kamayan" is the traditional Filipino way of eating with your hands.

Join us for a traditional Filipino experience where you eat an entire meal with your hands.  We lay out banana leaves across your table, then we lay out a bed of rice in front of you.  Then from there we sequentially "plate" out your food around the bed of rice.  Once complete, you and your group will have an entire meal laid out in front of you to eat kamayan-style!
